In the present research, in general, the steps to develop the technology of an advanced system (including hardware, software, and platform) are expressed. In this research, after receiving the opinions of external experts (twelve national managers) and internal organization experts in the form of specialized committees (27 industrial experts) and analyzing their views in the form of weighted gap-capability matrix, the radar diagram, the initial version of the system roadmap with a 10-years horizon, has been developed in four layers (22 purposes, 19 capabilities, 48 features and 100 technologies). This roadmap, after one or two years of its implementation, needs to be reviewed and updated in accordance with the latest technological changes in the country and the world, for carrying out the new requirements priorities, and possible changes. The purpose of this research is to provide a step-by-step model for developing the technology roadmap in detail, in order to be applied in similar research with changes and adaptations.
