Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of knowledge management process capabilities on innovation performance in high-tech organizations. This study is a descriptive survey and data were collected using a survey questionnaire completed by R&D sections of high-tech organizations. The statistical population of this study consists of 285 high-tech organizations located in Tehran. The sampling method was simple random. The questionnaire included 68 closed questions. To assess construct validity, LISREL software confirmatory factor analysis was used and hypotheses were tested using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique.Also, path analysis was used to measure the effect of knowledge management process capabilities on innovation performance and innovation processes. Results show that knowledge management process capabilities have a positive and direct effect on innovation performance and innovation processes. But innovation process has no significant effect on innovation performance. Furthermore, there is no indirect relationship between knowledge management process capabilities and innovation performance.
