Abstract

Despite the numerous benefits of Industry 4.0, the healthcare sector in Iran has not yet fully adapted. One of the ways to address this issue is to identify the drivers of this phenomenon. This topic has not been investigated in the literature of healthcare. Therefore, this research aims to identify the drivers of Healthcare 4.0 in Iran and model them. The statistical population of this research is Healthcare experts in Iran. Judgmental and snowball sampling methods is used. Sample size is equals to 19 experts in the first phase and 10 experts in the second phase. The analysis method in the first and second phases is thematic analysis and fuzzy total interpretive structural modeling, respectively. The results of the first phase indicate 23 drivers, which are categorized into 6 main categories. The results of the second phase show that the drivers of "disease exacerbation", "competitive pressure", and "public pressure" are the most fundamental drivers for decision making. Based on this, it is recommended to remove barriers to private sector participation, increase public awareness, and empower managers.
