Abstract

Identifying factors affecting technology transfer and using digital transformation technologies to ease and accelerate the transfer process are salient issues that can lead organizations to make more correct decisions in this field. The present research aims to identify the factors affecting technology transfer, focusing on digital transformation. The study applied the meta-synthesis method of Sandelowski and Barroso. It conducted a systematic review. From 312 articles, 42 papers were selected, based on the inclusion criteria. The research validity was confirmed according to the inclusion criteria; holding meetings by the research team, and employing an auditor to inspect the whole process. The research reliability was also confirmed by the Critical Appraisal Skills Program. Findings showed that, in the context of digital transformation, the factors influencing the process of technology transfer include seven dimensions and 61 components. These dimensions are 1-technology selection and acquisition, 2-technology adaptation, technology absorption, 3-technology exploitation, 4 technology development, 5-technology dissemination, and 6-learning and innovation. The model presented can be used to transfer technology in the context of digital transformation in Iran and other developing countries.
